Our 54 Year Family Christmas Button Ribbon Tradition

Throughout the years I've always wanted to carry on this heartfelt tradition our Mother started with us and make the Button Ribbon available to everyone. Every year as I would make them for family and friends I would again think about it but as each Christmas passed, it never came to fruition. 

In late 2020 after life altering Cancer battles in our family during a world wide pandemic,  I finally felt this was the time.   I started the Hope Ribbon Project making support Ribbons for families navigating a cancer diagnosis as we had. After receiving encouragement from so many,  product development on the Christmas Button Ribbon really started taking shape!  

With fun additions of Glitter Back Ribbon, Double Faced Satin Bows, durable plastic buttons, fun embellishments for decorations and inventing our Present Pocket with Santa's Magical Key, our Countdown To Christmas Collection and Button Ribbons was officially launched!   

This year was a busy and creative year!  We added Rudolph & The Misfits as well as The Silver & Gold  Ribbons to our 2022 Countdown to Christmas Collection!   We started making Button Ribbon Display Sleighs and can now be found in stores!

We gained some really amazing momentum in 2023!  Button Ribbons can now be found at the Liberty Tree Mall in Parcels which was so exciting! They carry our Countdown to Christmas, Hanukkah Celebration,  Countdown to Birthday and Motivation Button Ribbons in store.  We designed and launched Baby's 1st Christmas Countdown Ribbon which comes with a beautiful pendant attached to Santa's Magical Key that can be placed on the Christmas tree as an ornament for years to come. There is a placard in the back to write a memorable note that your child can read every year as they hang the Ribbon at the start of the countdown on December 1st.  We also designed and launched our Countdown to Easter Bunny Button Ribbons, our New Hanukkah Celebration Ribbon and our Princess Christmas and Birthday  Button Ribbon Collections!  We added new bubble embellishments to the Rudolph and The Misfit Collection and received some fun custom Countdown to Christmas orders this year; Nightmare Before Christmas made on black back glitter ribbon with red bows, and a Star Wars Ribbon of which both were so fun to make and came out great!

 Button Ribbons received Santa's Official Stamp of Approval this year (thanks Santa!!) and Wish On A Purple Cow designed our own coloring page for our Button Ribbons Kids! The most heartwarming of all was that we were able to donate many Hope Ribbon Project Super Hero Kids Christmas Button Ribbons to children navigating cancer, heart and medical illnesses this year.  

The gift of giving is what Button Ribbons is all about and we thank all of you for helping us to offer hope and love to families facing medical challenges with their children.
